From 2015 to 2018, the 2GB data bundle prices remained relatively stable. In 2018, MTN revised its pricing strategy by discontinuing the 2GB bundle and replaced it with the 1.5GB bundle charged at R 189. MTN stated that the discontinuation of the 2GB data bundle was due to commercial reasons.
