Despite the steady development of Internet infrastructure in recent years in Ghana, the country still faces considerable obstacles to achieving widespread connectivity. Ghana’s economy has been growing consistently, and measures to further foster Internet penetration are central to Ghana’s continued economic development. But along with the Internet’s tremendous benefits for business and commerce comes a challenge: greater Internet connectivity in the country is correlated with an increase in cybercrime.
